Payment policy – Please can dance fees be put in the envelopes provided with your child’s name and handed to me at the start of the lesson that makes lessons run more smoothly and does not waste class time. If change is required please let me know. If you require uniform items or need to pay for exams this can also be put in an envelope but please ensure this is written on the front of the envelope. If lessons cannot be paid at the start of the class please can you come and see me rather than just sending your child into the lesson. If lessons continue to not be paid at the start of the class then unfortunately your child will not be allowed to participate in the class.

Late Policy – If your child is more than ten minutes late then they will not be allowed to participate in the class as we will have warmed up by this point and it is un safe for your child to join a class without warming up.

Absence Policy - If you are absent from a lesson and you inform me before 4:30pm for Thursday classes and before 8:30am for Saturday classes via text, email or phone then just 50% of that nights lessons will be required next time you are at dancing. If I am not informed of your absence then 100% of that night’s fee will be due. If you miss two lessons in a month and do not notify me of your absence your place will be given to someone else on the waiting list.

Uniform Policy – Please can students ensure they are wearing the Amy Greaves School of Dance uniform to lessons, no other brands or logos should be worn. To ensure health and safety is met during lessons students should not wear jewellery, tie their hair back and not chew gum during lessons.

Break Policy - I am aware that some students have breaks and sometimes get dropped off early and like to wait before their lessons start. I am happy for this to continue as long as parents understand that I am not responsible for them during this time unless they are in a lesson. I would certainly advise that younger students are not left by themselves during break times. The dance school is not responsible for any items or valuables during lesson times.
